POTLUCK THEMED DINNERS
The second Thursday night of each month. Bring a dish to pass for at least 6 people. Main dish sponsored by Harbor Chase Senior Memory Care Community, beverages and table service provided along with entertainment.

This class is designed for those who wish to learn or improve their basic conversational and written Spanish.

ARE Your Electronic Gadgets Outsmarting You?
This class is designed with seniors in mind to help you learn to become more comfortable in working in these applications in your Laptop, Tablet, or Cell Phone: Bring your device and get to know about features that are available and how to navigate comfortably. A community volunteer will be available to assist you.  Appointments accepted but walk-ins welcome.  

 

WELLNESS ACTIVITIES 

ASK THE NURSE WITH BOULEVARD HEALTH CARE
2nd Monday each month, 11AM -12:15PM
The nurse will answer basic medical questions and offer free blood pressure screenings. Ask the Nurse is meant for suggestions only. If you need immediate attention, please visit your physician.

Caregiver Support Group
Sponsored by Crittenton Home Care.
Third Thursday each month, 6:00PM
This group provides an opportunity for caregivers to discuss how their lives have been affected as they care for someone with Alzheimer’s disease.  A safe and supportive environment for caregivers to share their feelings, 
ideas and gain support. Led by an Alzheimer’s Association facilitator.  Sponsored by Crittenton Home Care.

Scleroderma Support Group
Sponsored by the Scleroderma Michigan Chapter
1st Thursday of the month, 6:30PM

A support group for patients, loved ones or caregivers of those with the auto-immune disease Scleroderma. We meet to share our commonalities of the disease, provide each other with support, and to gain knowledge of the disease and how to manage it. There is a new topic each month.  Questions can be directed to support facilitator Glenda Courdret, 248-798-3267. Sponsored by the Scleroderma Michigan Chapter.

BRAIN INJURY SUPPORT GROUP
2nd Wednesday of the month, 7:00PM
This group, sponsored and supported by the Brain Injury Association of Michigan, provides survivors of brain injury and their caregivers the opportunity to learn more about brain injury and related topics as well as a forum to provide and receive support. There are many housing options for seniors; and trying to decide which option is right can be confusing. Each month features a different housing specialty.
