NATIONAL HOLOCAUST REMEMBRANCE DAY
This day is in memory of the victims of the Holocaust and is thus a day in which we must reassert our commitment to human rights. We must apply the lessons of the Holocaust to today’s world, and we must do our utmost so that all people may enjoy the protection and rights to which we are entitled. The Holocaust resulted in the destruction of human life and nearly two thirds of European art and personal resources. This remains one of the most painful reminders of the international community’s failure to protect the people and resources during that time. Come out and share one person’s personal journey through this time.
