AUBURN HILLS DECLARES A SNOW EMERGENCY

Due to the current conditions and expected snow fall accumulation, the City of Auburn Hills has declared a snow emergency effective, Thursday March 1, 2018 at 5:00 pm until further notice. Due to the snow emergency, there will be no parking on streets in residential neighborhoods starting at 5:00 pm until further notice.

In addition, there will be no overnight parking allowed on Auburn Rd. in downtown Auburn Hills. This will allow city workers to clear the roads and residential neighborhoods as quickly as possible. Vehicles parked in the roadway could be ticketed or towed at the owner’s expense. Abandoned vehicles along I-75, M-59 and major roadways will be towed.

Anyone who does not have to travel is asked to stay off the roadways during the storm and subsequent snow removal operations.

The public’s cooperation as we deal with this winter storm is greatly appreciated.
