The City of Auburn Hills Dispatching/PSAP (Public Safety Answering Point a.k.a. 911) was transferred to Oakland County Sheriff’s Office Central Dispatch on July 11, 2016, at 7 a.m. This does not change how our Police and Fire Department respond to service needs, only where and who answers 9-1-1 calls and request for Police and Fire.
Anyone who needs emergency response from Police/Fire/EMS should call 9-1-1.
Non-emergency calls for Police/Fire/EMS call 248-370-9444 or 248-858-4911.This will also include requests of the Fire Department.
Walk-in citizens will be handled in the same manner as they traditionally have been. After 10 p.m., the lobby doors will be locked and citizen should use the call box located in the foyer of the Public Safety building to speak to someone.
Our records (reports) bureau, gun registrations and Sex Offender Registration, will continue to operate during administrative hours Monday-Friday 8 a.m. - 5 p.m.
To make miscellaneous reports, post bond, waivable (fix-it) citations sign off and other police services will still be handle in the same manner at the Public Safety Building 24-hours a day -7-days a week.
