MDOT to hold a public meeting on 1-75/University Drive interchange replacement in Oakland County

An open house-style meeting to provide an overview of the I-75/University Drive interchange
replacement project in the city of Auburn Hills. Interested parties will have the opportunity to
learn details about the upcoming project.

BACKGROUND:
Scheduled to begin in spring 2015, the project includes reconstructing University Drive from
Opdyke Road to Cross Creek Road, including the interchange with I-75. The University Drive/I-
75 interchange will be replaced with a diverging diamond interchange. The project also includes
construction of a multi-use path, new signs, new traffic signals, streetscape enhancements,
decorative lighting and landscaping improvements.
