Auburn Hills Community Foundation makes grant to Auburn Hills Senior Center Meals on Wheels Program with the generosity of the Auburn Hills Chamber of Commerce 

Auburn Hills, MI---December 9, 2015---The Auburn Hills Community Foundation, a charitable organization whose mission is to serve the people and programs of Auburn Hills, announced today they made a grant in the amount of $2,500 to the Auburn Hills Senior Center Meals on Wheels Program. This grant was made possible with the generosity of the Auburn Hills Chamber of Commerce.

“The Auburn Hills Community Foundation is pleased to provide funding to the Auburn Hills Senior Center in support of the community’s Meals on Wheels program. If not for the generosity of the Auburn Hills Chamber of Commerce, this contribution would not have taken place. The Meals on Wheels program is the recipient of a part of the Chamber’s 2015 Taste of Auburn Hills event proceeds,” says Chairwoman Kristen Baiardi. 

The Meals on Wheels Program is intended for senior citizens who are unable to prepare their meals due to declining health, recovering from surgery, or are an elderly caregiver. Meals are delivered to their home up to seven days a week.
