Auburn Hills, MI—January 15, 2016—The Auburn Hills Community Foundation, dedicated to supporting the Auburn Hills Community, has officially kicked off a fundraising campaign for three new attractions at Riverside Park, located in Downtown Auburn Hills.
“The Riverwalk project is intended to make a unique connection between Downtown Auburn Hills and two wonderful city parks along the Clinton River, said Kristen Baiardi, Chair of the Auburn Hills Community Foundation. “The amphitheater, splash pad and plaza space will enhance both the aesthetics and the recreational opportunities already available. “
“Outdoor performances have always been something that we’ve wanted to bring to our Downtown. With the addition of an amphitheater, residents and guests will be able to experience concerts, plays and other events” said Mayor Kevin McDaniel. “This is a great time for our business community and our residents to come together to be a part of something very special.”
Brick pavers are available for personalization starting at $100 for a 4x4 Quarter Grid. These will be displayed prominently in the pavilion area of the stage. Other brick paver donor levels include 4x8 Half Grid for $250 and 8x8 Full Grid for $500. For the business community, additional sponsorship opportunities exist specific to both the amphitheater and splash pad; ranging from $5,000 and up to $150,000 for naming rights on the amphitheater.
If you are interested in making a donation, please visit the City’s website at www.auburnhills.org or the Community Foundation’s website at www.auburnhillscf.org. There is a wide-range of sponsor levels available to help complete the funding needed for this exciting project, anticipated for 2017 construction.
