Transform your ideas about the Library: celebrate National Library Week April 10-16

(Auburn Hills, MI) –This week, the Auburn Hills Public Library joins libraries in schools, campuses and communities nationwide in celebrating the dynamic changes that are happening in today’s libraries. April 10-16 is National Library Week, a time to highlight the changing role of libraries, librarians and library workers.

The Auburn Hills Public Library is celebrating National Library Week by offering fine forgiveness with Books for Fines. For each new or gently used book you donate to the Library, we will forgive your overdue Library fines according to the following list:

Hardcover Books and Trade Paperback Books - $1.00

Paperbacks and Children’s Books - $0.50

Fines will be forgiven up to a maximum of $20.00 per Library card. Overdue items must be returned to receive fine forgiveness. Fine forgiveness cannot be applied toward fees for items that have been lost or damaged. The Library will gladly accept donations even if there are no fines to be waived.
