Thanksgiving Night - Black Friday Shopping - Holiday Shopping
The Auburn Hills Police Department is preparing for the holiday shopping season that kicks off Thanksgiving night and Black Friday. Our goal is for shoppers to have a safe and fun shopping experience. We will have additional staffing in place in our retail district during the holiday shopping season.

The City and Oakland County Road Commission use a unique computerized traffic signal program to facilitate traffic on the surface streets around the retail district on either side of I-75 to reduce backups and help drivers safely enter and exit the freeway.
There are lane restrictions in the ongoing construction zone on Baldwin Road at Brown Road motorist should expect delays in this area or alternate routes to get around the area.

- Do not leave valuables visible in your vehicle.
- Don’t leave purses, wallets or smartphones unattended in shopping carts
- Be aware that auto break-ins can occur when shoppers put purchases in their trunk and then return to the stores for additional shopping.
- Lock your vehicle!
- Be aware of your surroundings when walking to and from the parking lot and try to shop with a friend.
- Call 911 to report any suspicious activity. SEE SOMETHING, SAY SOMETHING!
