Apartment Fire in Auburn Hills
Today at 03:40 PM Auburn Hills Fire Department personnel were dispatched to the 3100 block of Brookshear Circle for an apartment fire. When crews arrived, they found heavy fire on the first floor, second floor and through the roof of an end unit. There were reports of people trapped in an apartment, the first arriving fire crew quickly cleared the apartment in question, no victims were found. All residents were able to get out of the building and there were no injuries reported.
The fire quickly spread through the entire attic. Fire crews from Rochester Hills, Bloomfield Township, Orion Township, Waterford Regional, Rochester City and Troy assisted Auburn Hills Fire Department with extinguishing the fire.

The cause of the fire is still under investigation, and it appears that the 6 units involved in the fire were a total loss. The Red Cross arrived and provided assistance to the residents who were displaced by the fire. No firefighters or residents were injured during the fire.
